Falak Shawwa is a freelance photographer working on several projects and for Rimal Publications, a publishing house based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Recent projects included photographing Palestinian children in Refugee Camps in Lebanon and special assignments with the Ghassan Kanafani Cultural Foundation and UNICEF. Falak has also worked/trained with Reuters and AFP as a photo editor and photographer in Beirut, Lebanon and Nicosia, Cyprus. Part of her portfolio also includes several corporate photography projects throughout the Gulf region and the Middle East.
Falak has exhibited her work in London, Beirut, Cyprus and New York.
