Rimal at the Beirut Art Book Fair

Rimal Publications participated at the Beirut Art Book Fair 2011, where Afaf Zuryak held a book signing session of her new book Lovesong. The event was very successful where we networked with other authors, artists, publishers.

The Festival of Lebanese Art Books has become part of Beirut Art Book Fair 2011 as it is growing internationally to include art books and related art work from beyond Lebanon's borders. Remarkable features of this year's fair included Art Exhibitions of artists from Lebanon and abroad in individual spaces and a Book Design Award for the best designed book of the year.

In addition to the success of the fair, the legendary Mr Wadih Safieh also made a suprise appearance at the BABF and was greated by the organizers and visitors. He enjoyed the displayed artwork and publications and even casually performed a couple of his songs as appreciation for the warm greeting he had received.

The Fair took place from Tue. 25 - Sat. 29 October, 2011 at BEIRUT SOUKS (Souk el Arwam, Bab Idriss).
