2011 GKCF Calendar Luanch
After volunteering at the Ghassan Kanafani Cultural Cultural Foundation (GKCF) and their kindergartens for children (ages 3-6 years) in several refugee camps across Lebanon. Photographer Falak Shawwa was inspired to start an initiative of producing a calendar project. All proceeds went towards the children's kindergarten annual tuition fees. The funds raised from the calendar sales covered the education of 36 kindergarten children for a period of two consecutive years.
