Jumana Kazim Al Tamimi is a journalist, editor and broadcaster by profession. She is a Jordanian national with Palestinian roots. In Amman, she pursued her university education and started her career as a journalist and broadcaster with the Voice Of America (VOA), where she covered major political, economic and social developments across the Middle Eastern region.
She has held senior positions at other reputed international and regional media houses, and her articles were published in print around the world. Jumana holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston, US.
In the UAE, Jumana has studied, worked and lived in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. She has fond childhood memories of the capital, where her late father worked as a legal consultant to the government. Her family resided in Abu Dhabi from the sixties (prior to the establishment of the UAE) until the late eighties, and she moved back to Dubai in 2005.
