نوّارة - Nawwara
The tale of Nawwara - in its Arabic universal poetic symbols - is simple yet magical. It is a dazzling tale interlaced with Arabic/oriental magic.
Nawwara is a highly visual narrative tale that unveils the magical adventures of a 13-year-old heroic girl in a constantly disturbed area of the world, narrated by an ancient Arabic manuscript hidden for a thousand years in Nawwara’s house in the desert. Her journey, in time, space, the desert, the oasis and sea, is narrated where artwork and imagination interwine to connect fantasy with reality, and words with images. The characters live in parallel in the margins as abstract graphic elements. Nawwara, notably, is an unfolding gold line. The book is for young adults.
