How it took an orphaned kitten to humanize an orphaned child.

The book inspires kindness and empathy with an open ending where the two character dream of what may come. The last pages help children think actively about the endless possibilities for young Basim and Spot, through a coloring page and a creative writing page where the young reader can use their imagination to continue and conclude the story.

The book was everything I expected. I took the book to class and shared it with my kids (students) and they loved the little kitten. A very inspiring story. Highly recommended from a teacher to parents and kids.

Love the story

I have to be honest, I bought this book for myself. But my sons love the story too. I especially love the fact that they have a chance to continue the story with room to draw and write at the end of the book. Great idea!
