Samir Shawa

After the establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1994, Samir Shawa returned to his hometown Gaza , and became actively engaged in the development and construction of many infrastructure projects.
As the Chairman of Alhani Cultural Foundation, he attends many international events and conferences.
He is currently an active member of various associations that support Palestinian rights , demanding the recognition of Palestine State.

درس سمير الشوا الهندسة في لندن وعمل في مجال النفط والغاز في عدة دول عربية وأوروبية. عاد إلى مسقط راْسه ( مدينة غزة ) عند قيام السلطة الفلسطينية سنة 1994. عمل على تطوير وتنفيذ عدة مشاريع اقتصادية في قطاع غزة .
يشارك بشكل دوري في مؤتمرات تعنى بالقضية الفلسطينية لدى الكثير من المؤسسات العالمية بصفته رئيسا لدار الهاني الثقافية.
