Najwa Kawar Farah
Contributing a lifetime toward enriching the Arab literary movement.
Najwa Kawar Farah (نجوى قعوار فرح) is a Palestinian woman born in 1923. She has contributed throughout the years toward enriching the Arab literary movement. She wrote numerous collections of short stories, plays, prose, and poetry. She was a public speaker and contributed to many Arab radio stations and to the BBC's Arabic service. Some of her later work was published in English, "A Continent Called Palestine," and a short story in Arabic under the headline "The Residents of the Top Floor."
